ATI's Who is Sitting at Your Table WorksheetEver wonder if you have the right people on your team? Is your staff committed to growing your shop? When you are looking to hire someone, how hard do you look at the values that are important to them? When is the last time you took a hard look at your staff to see if they share the same values as you?

Using the "Who is Sitting at Your Table?" tool can help you identify reasons why you have a hard time getting things accomplished. Many people don't like sudden change and that makes sense. However, when you have a hard time getting your crew to adapt to the changing world, that can become a problem. Use the tool to take a good look at who you are betting your future on. You might be surprised.

I have always believed that if you work hard enough and smart enough, anything can be accomplished. As we continued to grow our shop, we found that some of the staff were holding things back. I wasn't sure why they didn't understand what we were trying to do. After using the "Who is Sitting at Your Table" tool, we were able to pinpoint what the problem was. Then it became a lot simpler to find a way to explain the changes in a way that they would embrace. Taking a hard look at the values and beliefs of my staff helped me to understand how to become a better owner. We all have benefited from it.
